Privacy-first scan analytics for connected packaging

Most consumer-facing analytics platforms inject ad trackers into every page. That is a bad fit for QR code product information, food traceability, Digital Product Passport pages and public safety notices. 2D Barcode Hub treats scan analytics as first-party product intelligence. The platform records the scan event from the request itself, aggregates it for the brand dashboard and keeps public product pages free from third-party ad pixels.

The result is commercially useful without becoming creepy. A brand can see which product pages are being scanned, which products perform after retail activation, whether scans are coming from mobile devices, which markets are engaging, and whether a scan action or resolver link is driving behavior. That helps packaging teams, category managers and founders make decisions without collecting unnecessary consumer data.

Date ranges, product performance and exportable scan data

The dashboard is built around practical packaging questions: how many scans happened today, what changed over the last 7 or 30 days, which products are getting attention, which countries and cities appear, what devices are scanning, and which referrers are visible. Paid plans can export scan data for reporting and BI workflows. For brands preparing for Sunrise 2027, this turns the 2D barcode migration into a measurable channel rather than a compliance-only packaging change.

Quick answers

Is this really included in the free plan?
Five active product pages on free, forever. No credit card. Higher limits and locked features ship with paid tiers.
Is scan analytics the same as ad attribution?
No. Scan analytics are product-level signals from 2D barcode scans: which product was scanned, when it was scanned, approximate geography, device context and referrer where available. It is not third-party ad tracking.
